Why Indoor Multi-Sport Programs Matter for Kids This Winter

As the weather turns colder and kids spend more time indoors, it’s harder to find ways to keep them active, engaged, and connected. That’s exactly why we created the Heart House Training Winter Indoor Multi-Sport Program — a 6-week experience designed for kids ages 6–12 that blends soccer, basketball, and dodgeball in a fun, supportive environment.

Active Bodies, Healthy Minds

At Heart House, we believe sports are about more than just fitness. Yes, kids will build coordination, endurance, and strength — but they’ll also develop confidence, resilience, and teamwork skills that support their mental wellness.

Winter can be tough for children. Less daylight, more screen time, and fewer opportunities to connect socially can all impact their mood and well-being. Our indoor program provides a structured outlet where kids can move, make friends, and feel good about themselves.

What Makes Our Program Different?

Instead of focusing on one sport, our program rotates through three — giving kids variety, fun, and new challenges each week. Over the 6 weeks, kids will enjoy:

  • 2 weeks of soccer: ball control, teamwork, and strategy through games and drills.
  • 2 weeks of basketball: coordination, quick thinking, and fun mini-games.
  • 2 weeks of dodgeball & ball tag: high-energy play that builds agility and confidence.

Each session runs 1 hour per week and blends team games with short skill-focused activities. Our supportive coaches create an environment where every child feels included, encouraged, and challenged at their own pace.

Affordable, Accessible, and Limited Spots

We know families are balancing busy schedules and budgets. That’s why we’ve set the program fee between $60–$75 for the full 6 weeks — making this a no-brainer investment in your child’s health, happiness, and growth. Sibling discounts are also available.

⚠️ Spots are limited! Only 15 kids per block will be accepted. We’re running 4 blocks per week, split into ages 6–9 and 10–12. Sessions include a warm-up, 15 minutes of fun skill drills, and 30 minutes of game play.

Help Shape the Program

Because this is our first indoor season, we want your feedback to make it work for your family. Please tell us which days and times work best for you — and/or reserve your child’s spot now. Pre-registration is free, and no payment is required until the schedule is finalized. Reserving early guarantees your place and first access before spots are filled.

Together, we can make this winter a season of growth, fun, and connection for kids in our community.
